Miloslav Bures (November 6, 1909, Policka, Austria-Hungary - November 12, 1968, Praha, Czechoslovakia)
Czech poet, prose writer, editor.
After high school in Policka and several semesters at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, he worked as an editor of periodicals and newspapers, a radio and publishing editor. The composer Bohuslav Martinu composed four cantatas for his poetic texts:
Otvirani studanek (1955), Legenda z dymu bramborove nati (1956), Romance z pampelisek (1957) and Mikes z hor (1959).
